Bryan Martin Interview on the Arrest of Horse Trainer Darren Weir

Paul talks to former race caller Bryan Martin about the arrest of Australia's biggest horse trainer sending shock waves through the racing industry only just recovering from another scandal.

Victoria Police say the raids on Darren Weir's two stables were part of a Sporting Integrity Intelligence Unit investigation into alleged corruption in racing. In a statement, police said that Weir and the other men were arrested for questioning as part of an investigation into suspected offences including:

• obtaining financial advantage by deception
• engaging in conduct that corrupts or would corrupt a betting outcome
• use of corrupt conduct information for betting purposes
• attempting to obtain financial advantage by deception
