Fatigue Education and Awareness is a part of the Department of Transport and Main Roads 'Drive to Save Lives' Campaign. Fab FM Radio and the Port Douglas Crocs AFL are partnering to increase awareness about the role fatigue plays in road deaths on our roads. To help reduce the fatalities and hospitalization visits caused by road accidents between Cairns and Port Douglas, identified as the Far North's most deadly, with seven fatalities between 2011 and 2016. Fatigue doesn't only relate to falling asleep at the wheel - even brief lapses in concentration can have serious consequenses.
