Jason Owen was raised in Albert, NSW, a town that once had a population of 12. Jason wanted to break out and was the runner-up to Samantha Jade on the fourth season of The X Factor Australia in 2012 and subsequently received a recording contract. He’s certainly made the most of that opportunity. During Covid Jason started an online chat show. After suffering from mental health challenges himself, he wanted to reach out and see how everyone was doing.
