When Mayor Michael Kerr brought forward an idea to make Council even more transparent & give Douglas Shire ratepayers a voice on issues that involve them, he and other councillors were stunned by a statement by Cr Abigail Noli. Voices were raised but good sense prevailed with the idea being given total support by the Deputy Mayor Cr Lisa Scomazzon, Cr Peter McKeown, the Mayor and finally Cr Noli.
