Mal Phillips tells FAB about the saga of the Port Lagoon 17Dec19

Mal Phillips has lived in the Douglas Shire for 33 years and is an astute local resident. He dropped by the Fab FM studios with a pile of research and plans for a Port Douglas pool that has been bandied about for yonks. He can see no reason why a massive Lagoon dreamed up by the Council should be built down the beach end. Among other reasons Mal reckons local traders will miss out on any economic benefit by placing it there. He goes along with Botanic Gardens boss John Sullivan in poo-pooing the grandiose idea. He spoke with Paul on his 'Makin & Eggs' program.
