Mayor Julia Leu chats with Paul about all things Douglas Shire including Councils idea to build a 'Lagoon' in Port Douglas. She also addresses the story in 'Newsport' that headlined the story "Could The Councils Dream Of A Carbon Neutral Future Be Over" and suggested the CEO Mark Stoermer was intimating that when he stood up and spoke at the most recent 'Think Tank' in Mossman. Paul was at the meeting and told Julia that wasn't the impression he got. The Mayor says she has spoken with the CEO about the matter and told FAB FM listeners what Mark Stoermer said to her.
