Mayor Julia Leu chats to Paul Makin about all things Douglas Shire including her not allowing Russell O'Doherty from Daintree Renewable Energy Inc to attend a recent Daintree Joint Management meeting at Council.
She also talks about not writing a letter of support for the Daintree Energy Project despite positive letters coming from Tourism Tropical North Queensland, Tourism Port Douglas Daintree and Daintree Marketing Co-operative.

This mayor is extremely involved in the shutting down of any projects to improve the quality of life for the residents nth of the daintree, she is allowing DSSC to dictate the natural progression of progress for this area and is working with Berwick to stagnate any tourist improvement where power would be involved this is corupt to say the least a d spending rate payer monies to fund an adjenda that nullifies the natural progression is a disgusting stigma on this council.
