A searching probity report into the purchase of the Daintree River Ferry and it's  contract negotiations has been ratified by Council. At a Special Meeting in Council Chambers in Mossman, Mayor Michael Kerr, Deputy Mayor Cr Lisa Scomazzon and Cr Peter McKeown voted to have it prepared for public scrutiny. Cr Abigail Noli and Cr Roy Zammataro voted NO. A bit of a head scratcher there because Cr Noli has questioned the lack of consultation and transparency on the matter in the past.
