Former Councillor Rod Davis and his group, Keep PD Free, have likened the actions of Hitler in Nazi Germany to the way the Palaszczuk State Government is handling the mandatory vaccination for employees in the Douglas Shire. Mr Davis insists it's already cost jobs locally and is going to get worse. He claims current vaccines are obsolete and downright dangerous. FAB FM's Paul Makin spoke to Mr Davis at today's protest at the Douglas Shire Council's offices in Mossman. This 'One On One' interview is UNEDITED

Port Douglas local Reub Hayes has had 45 years in investment banking, initially specialising in Research Analysis. He was ranked in a survey undertaken by an Australian Financial Review article in the 1980's as one of Australia's exceptional research analysts. SO his report card on how the Covid Pandemic has been handled by Governments, Social Media and the Press is very enlightning. This is not a political point of view, it's an honest look at what has gone right and what has gone wrong.

It has now been released to the public with some redacting. But Tuesdays special meeting of Council saw two Councillors criticize the report. Paul now his say as he looks closely at this meeting and what the report means for us and Council itself. At least one person has had his reputation restored after a social media hammering and rightfully so. https://douglas.qld.gov.au/daintree-river-ferry-service-probity-audit-released-to-the-public/

A searching probity report into the purchase of the Daintree River Ferry and it's contract negotiations has been ratified by Council. At a Special Meeting in Council Chambers in Mossman, Mayor Michael Kerr, Deputy Mayor Cr Lisa Scomazzon and Cr Peter McKeown voted to have it prepared for public scrutiny. Cr Abigail Noli and Cr Roy Zammataro voted NO. A bit of a head scratcher there because Cr Noli has questioned the lack of consultation and transparency on the matter in the past. Surely releasing the report to the public is about as transparent as you can get. https://douglas.qld.gov.au/
