When Mayor Michael Kerr brought forward an idea to make Council even more transparent & give Douglas Shire ratepayers a voice on issues that involve them, he and other councillors were stunned by a statement by Cr Abigail Noli. Voices were raised but good sense prevailed with the idea being given total support by the Deputy Mayor Cr Lisa Scomazzon, Cr Peter McKeown, the Mayor and finally Cr Noli. Last year it was a virtual 'Cram It On Broadway', but this year the performers once again returned to the Clink Theatre stage. Shaun Cram with his special guests took us on a musical journey of the best of Broadway. Ticket revenue went towards the Clink Theatre Building Fund and the Jack Heywood Memorial Fund. FAB FM's Paul Makin was at yesterdays matinee performance and gives his thoughts on what was dished up. A feast it seems, as everyone in the show was wonderful.
