Cr Roy Zammataro was forced to apologise over his behaviour at todays meeting of the Douglas Shire Council. It was anything but an ordinary meeting as the Mayor and other Councillors accused Cr Zammataro of presenting a floored motion that had no chance of getting up. Cr Zammataro and Cr Noli even tried to change the wording mid stream in an effort to get it across the line but it was defeated. Paul Makin caught up with the Mayor Michael Kerr, the Deputy Mayor Lisa Scomazzon and Cr Peter McKeown to discuss the almost farcical idea. Also on the agenda a suggested tweaking of the town plan, **Buskers note** please stay in Cairns, what TPDD is getting in funding PLUS more. www.douglas.qld.gov.au
