Chatting with FAB FM's Paul Makin, Member For Leichhardt Warren Entsch says power and reliable internet WILL come to the Daintree thanks to a 19.3 million dollar allocation in yesterdays Federal Budget. Treasurer Josh Frydenberg has backed Mr Entsch in his fight to bring power to the people who live and work in the tropical rainforest. Dedicated residents have fought alongside the MP for 25 years to make this happen. Any real 'Greenie' would be over the moon to see this 'Clean & Green' measure but not a small bunch of local naysayers who spread misinformation about it's affect on the rainforest. Standby for more BS from them. https://www.warrenentsch.com.au/

When things might get loud who do you call? Noisebuster Merran Blockey from Cape Trib Farm that's who. When a cafe in Cape Tribulation made application for a variation of conditions to their liquor licence that involved music, Merran headed to todays meeting of the DSC to state her case. The cafe wants a ruling on the decibels (dB) it aims to pump out. While The Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation have the final say, Merran wanted Councillors to send a clear message to the owners of the Turtle Rock Cafe that it's not conducive to the area. It seems she was listened to. Paul Makin chats to this charged up Cape Crusader.
