The Laura Races are moving in the year of 2021. The Annual Laura Amateur Turf Club Event in 2020 went to the “Archives” as a cancelled occasion similar to the events during the 2 World Wars. While 2021 is awash with regulations concerning Covid, the Laura organisers have come up with a compromise. With support from Racing Queensland, the event this year will move to Mareeba. The race Day will be conducted at the Mareeba Turf Club on Saturday 26th June. FAB FM's Paul Makin sits down with LATC Secretary Jenni Sorensen to discuss the historic move.
