Bennett Walker is an Elder belonging to the Kubirri Warra Clan and is always engaged in sharing cultural knowledge, Now on the eve of the Local Government Election, he passes on his knowledge about the last Council and gives them a score out of ten. He also expresses his disappointment over the block of land in the Daintree purchased by Council and the lack of consultation. But the biggest 'Haymaker' he delivers is about the Mossman Gorge Centre and how the Kubirri Warra Clan have been cut out of the main operation despite the fact it's their traditional land. As a result of the current Covid-19 Pandemic they have no food or money but a random act of kindness by a couple of Council Rangers has left them with a big smile and confirmation there's still a lot of love and kindness in the world. Following FAB FM Journalist Paul Makin's investigation into the emails that came into his position that showed four people had an imput into a letter to the Editor of The Gazette, but was eventually only signed by one, he received an email from Mayoral Candidate Julia Leu threatening to take legal action unless the podcast was taken down. Paul and FAB FM believe this is a story of public interest and an example of freedom of the press. This is Paul's response to the letter and the stand he's taking in regard to this. In the emails in question, would be Councilor Bruce Clarke is named in the 'Letter To The Editor'. Thrown in there as a wedge to destabilize Mayoral Candidate Michael Kerr's campaign. Paul chats to Bruce and gets his reaction.
